The material tells the true story of Dr. John Till who really wasn't a doctor. He created a "plaster" that he sold to people in St. Croix County that would supposedly cure anything. Till became a very rich con-artist who survived the courts until 1920 when he was fined and lost all his money. This tells his story along with a picture and a song that was written about him, "The Reward of John Till" which he, himself wrote and published from the Barron County Jail. The song is an extra insert.
