I realize everyone else read Rowell's other book this last year, and I will get to it, but I enjoyed Fangirl a good deal. Well written and sweet without being sappy.

This took a while to get started for me, so I recommend it as a perfect vacation read when you are going to sit down and enjoy the first few chapters without stopping (there are a lot of characters and jumps forward/back in time). I didn't always like the characters (who needs to like everyone?) But probably one of the most satisfying last lines I've read in a long time. You should read the whole book just to get to the right mindset to enjoy that one last line.

Crazy, crazy good. Anyone who made mix tapes in the 80's and 90's will love it, but it also so perfectly depicts the weirdness of grief. A beautiful book I wish I could read for the first time over and over. it's also quite funny.
