There was a graphic sex scene early in the first episode. I was shocked! I turned it off and won't be watching it. Why remake Perry Mason into such a different type of show? This was nothing like I expected it to be.

2.5* very slow and boring. I stopped watching after 2nd episode. I also did not like the constant use of the f%$# word and extreme unnecessary graphic sex scenes. I am sure both of these do not appear in the Perry Mason books.

I knew going in, that this series was not like the original. However, I wasn't expecting a complete makeover to the point it has no resemblance to the original. And it is ploddingly slow and not in a good way. To the detriment of the show, not all is explained. 2nd episode in, a black policeman is shown looking for someone or something, with no hint even of why he's in the scene or what he has to do with the case. After that episode, I quit watching as I no longer knew what was going on. I, too, found it boring. Which is a shame as I like the main actors. Don't recommend - much better series out there to watch.
