Couldn’t get into this one.

Seemed to me long and drawn out. I think the author was trying to hard to develop the characters and the plot.

A fun twisty mystery for fans of the genre.

Lisa Jewell is becoming one of my favourite authors! Her books always have a neat little mystery in them. This was another good one!

This is my third or fourth book to read by Lisa Jewell. It held my attention by wanting to know what really happened and who might have been involved with her death. The guilty person(s) took me by surprise but it made sense to me. I did feel disappointed that the person(s) involved with the bullying didn't really face any consequences for their actions and someone died as a result of it. Bullying is a serious problem in our society and I was hoping to see a different ending. Author Lisa Jewell does a great job again of taking you by surprise of who was responsible for the third wife's death.

A sad commentary on what bullying can accomplish. Worse yet, is where it's from and that often there's little consequences.

The novel "The Third Wife" By: Lisa Jewell is quite mysterious and addictive. Adrian Wolfe discovers that his third wife died from a bus collision. Now the conundrum here is that was it an accident, murder, or suicide? Adrian grieves for a year until realizing that some aspects of his wife's death do not add up. This book kept me at the edge of my seat pondering about what turn of events could occur. I would give this book a 4/5. The intrigue and the perplexing circumstances that were given makes you want to read the book non-stop, though some areas in the book are in need of more description. @flarrow_s of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Lisa Jewell is one of my new favorite authors. I loved this novel. It's definitely not "edge of your seat suspenseful" but I liked how the characters were intertwined into a complex story. Just when I thought I had it figured out I was proven wrong. I find her writing captivating and The Third Wife was one of my favorite Jewell novels so far.

I loved this book!
Totally refreshing! Very reminiscent of Liane Moriarty, one of my favourite authors.

If you like Liane Moriarty's Bit Little Lies or The Husband's Secret, try this story of an oft-married man who prides himself on how well his blended family blends, until his third wife dies by an accident that may not have been an accident.
