I love this album. It's one of my favorite christmas albums of all time. It's super jazzy and a little sad, not like most christmas albums. It doesn’t sound super peppy and happy like all holidays songs are supposed to be. Nonetheless it is really beautiful, Vince Guaraldi’s piano is melancholy like one might feel when the sky turns black at four o’ freaking clock in the winter. Even though it sounds a bit sad it still sounds distinctly christmassy and is very catchy because of its jazzy chords and rhythm. If you haven’t yet heard this album I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

I was (am) amazed at how this jazzy piano work of genius has become my girls' favourite (ages 5 and 7) - they now listen to it every night to fall asleep to.

One of the greatest Christmas albums of all time. Vince Guaraldi was a genius, making his music simultaneously accessible to the casual masses and sherly brilliant to the jazz enthusiast. And who didn't grow up loving the Christmas special?
