Add a CommentThis was a very interesting read. As many people have said, within the Southern Vampire Mysteries there were holes. Pieces of information that you would have appreciated knowing while reading each book. "Touch of Dead" fills in a lot of those holes, and explains even smaller comments made within them. Very quick to read these stories too.
A nice collection of short stories. They answer some questions I had about other books in the series.
very good - I can't handle the novels but the short stories are very good
Nice simple little short stories. Really enjoyed them - it was a perfect nice light read for a rainy evening.
So not cool that you had to read "One Word Answer" (only in this book and in an older anthology) in order to understand major plot points in the 6th book of the Sookie Stackhouse series.
My first foray into the 'True Blood" series. Sookie is cute and spunky. There vampires, weres, faries, etc... and sufficiently supernatural and unsettling enough to make the stories interesting. I'll keep reading these.
A fast read, and a bit confusing if you haven't read the Sookie Stackhouse books. The last story, a Christmas story, as a great twist at the end.
A bunch of fun little short stories to accompany the series. Worth a read if you like the Sookie Stackhouse novels, or True Blood.
Just some very bland Sookie filler for those of us needing a Sookie "fix". I'll have to check when Harris expects to publish the next REAL Sookie novel.
A great read if you are a Sookie Stackhouse fan. Offers readers a different look into the lives of some of the sub characters. Fun, although not as rewarding as the full novels.
