In all honesty the ending was a bit of a cliff hanger and it seems like it should've have another book after it, maybe if there was another one it would be about her life is adjusting and her on a quest to find 'Joshua' or maybe it could be in 'Joshua's' point of view of him trying to find her, but im just fantasizing right now. But overall this book was amazing and I loved it, plus it really seems to be in a 13 year old girl's head. So yes to get to the overall statement I'm making here, I very much do recommend reading this book!

A riveting story, but also depression and challenging. It questions where our place in a society like this lies.

I picked this book up by chance and read it in one day. The community that Kyra grows up in seems perfect to her at first, but through her eyes you can see her reality falling apart. the ending felt really rushed and I almost wish for a second book

All in all, a good read, not in depth as far as the cult/revelations about the outside world as it could have been, but I do get the appeal.

This book was very touching and really sad. I thought it was a really good book and I recommend it to anyone who LOVES to read. But I also thought the ending was a cliff hanger.

This book was an extremely moving story about love, family, religion, and freedom. It caused me to question my beliefs and wonder what choices I would have made in Kyra's situation. A definate must read.
