The story of the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well is one of hope, redemption, and a life changed in an instant through a remarkable encounter. Jesus told her "everything she'd ever done," but we are left to wonder at the circumstances that led her life on such a tragic path to begin with.

I read this book to fulfil the goal read a book based on a true story. Yes, i will take any excuse to indulge in biblical fiction. it is one of my top genre's. this book is a little slow going at first, but overall it was good. i have been reading about the woman at the well a lot in my devotional life this year, so maybe that may have made it better for me, but i did really enjoy it.
