Seth and Evan are accepting the fact that they will be going to different colleges in the fall. Now, it seems more imporant than ever that they go to a high school party, and achieve some of their long time goals. This includes, but is not limited to, losing their virginity with the girl of their dreams by getting them wasted and being their "regret hookup." Their awkward friend Fogell gets a fake ID, with just the name McLovin, and agrees to get liquor to bring to Jules' a.k.a. Seth's dream girl's graduation party. All seems to be going well until McLovin is suckerpunched in the liquor store by a robber. When the police come, they try to get a story out of the clerk, but she is too worried about her exam tomorrow, so they question McLovin.

Superbad is an iconic movie that is based off of exaggerated high school stereotypes. The movie, in my book is rated 5/5 for its humour, and the acting is superb. I really enjoy this film because it just has so many exciting and humorous scenes that happen that just make Superbad legendary. The plot seems fairly basic but almost every time you think you know what is going on someone on screen will do something spontaneous that will bring tears of laughter to your eyes. I have seen this movie many times and each time it has made me laugh. High school as a senior mostly consists of parties as this movie shows. The schemes the characters use to make the party amazing and end up with their dream girls are drop-dead hilarious. The choice of actors is also fantastic I really liked Bill Hader’s performance even though he was not a main character, I still found him quite funny. I think most teens would absolutely love this movie like I do if they do enjoy movies that feature partying and having the time of your life with your best friends. Another thing I really enjoyed was the dynamic of the three main characters and how they work together. Those are the reasons why I believe Superbad is an iconic high school movie that all teens will enjoy.

I was not expecting this movie to be so funny, but the casting was absolutely perfect and that is what made this a stand out comedy.

The movie Superbad is one of my favourite movies. This movie is about teen drama, partying and overcoming fears. I liked this movie a lot because it is very relatable to most teenagers and how they feel. The movie is about 3 friends going through the night by getting into trouble, going to parties and trying to get with girls. In this movie it shows how the closest of friends broke up, but still made up at the end and chose each other over girls. This has been and will always be one of my favourite views because of the funny and creative storyline. The actors in this movie are also amazing at their roles and are hilarious. The show features big time actors such as Seth Rogen as a cop, and Jonah hill as the main character. Although this movie has some adult language, and some inappropriate scenes I would recommend it for audiences 13 and up. Thank you for reading this review and I hope you enjoy this movies as much as I did. 5/5 Stars. @ButterChicken of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Two awkward and corny friends try to make the best of their last few weeks of highschool. Part of this plan includes going to a party and trying their best to talk to girls and experience alcohol for the first time. This is challenged after two cops enter the story and try to show one of the friends the time of their life. This film is hilarious, uncomfortable, and reminiscent of many people’s highschool experience. Jonah Hill and Michael Cera are awkwardly loveable as always, making this film fairly enjoyable. I would rate this movie 4/5 stars and recommend it to lovers of these two actors together. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library

This was a fun film to watch again. Some parts are a little awkward to watch, and some of the "statements" made are dated and probably not so tolerable almost ten years on after it's release, but there's plenty of comedy delivered from the actors, and I'm not talking about Jonah Hill's excessive use of profanity in every one of his lines. Funny for a night of irreverent laughter.

From "Adventures in Babysitting" to "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle", Teen Quest comedies are nothing new and "Superbad" has nothing new to offer. As Seth, Evan and Fogel desperately try to make their way to the party there’s plenty of gross-out conversation centred primarily on boobs and BJ's, the usual lampooning of authority figures (Police officers Slater and Michaels cavort like two stooges on crack), and a hefty dose of underage drinking and groping if no actual nudity. Despite this lack of originality the adult content is still funny enough to make older audiences smile and there is a warm if superficial vein of camaraderie underlying the slapstick antics as the two boyhood chums grow up just a little bit. But it was the prolonged and extremely juvenile flashback montage featuring a very young Seth going through his “penis drawing” phase (even George Washington gets a hefty wang) that provided the guiltiest laughs.

This movie is so bad as to be unwatchable. there is not one area -- writing, acting, directing or anything else that comes close to being acceptable. It is just a shame that people continue with a movie like this. Early on, they must have realized that there was no value at all in it and they should have canned it then. Don't waste your time.

Officer Michaels: Yeah McLovin, how is it going with the ladies?

Fogell: It's not the "going" I'm worried about... but the "coming".
