I wouldn't call this horror at all. Psychological thriller, yes.

If you have already seen this movie it is worth watching the "Rules and Clues" special feature before watching it again. This really is a movie worth watching twice (maybe with a break of a year or two) because you see it from a completely different perspective the second time through.

I love this movie so much! I watched it 3 times in 3 days! You don't want to miss it!

Awesome show!!!! Loved the twist ending! You will definitely want to rewatch! Suspenseful & creepy! Actually like the characters! One of the best horror shows I have watched! Funny at times! Really good, psychological thriller!

This is a film that, even once you know the ending, is worth re-watching for everything you missed the first time. Overall, it's just a great story.

"The Sixth Sense" has got to be one of the most over-rated and utterly preposterous psychological Thrillers that I have ever seen.

Of course, right from the start the film was pretty much ruined by the unwelcome presence of Bruce Willis, whose performance, alone, actually managed to drag this film's story down by at least a few good notches.

But the thing that completely ruined "The Sixth Sense" for me was the "surprise" twist ending.

No. I'm sorry. This film tried way too hard to pass itself off as being something so utterly clever and ingenious, but it wasn't anything like that, at all. It was just plain demented if you really stop and think about it.

The “Sixth Sense” is a film directed by M. Night Shyamalan, starring Bruce Willis, Haley Joel Osment & Toni Collette. The movie has been nominated for multiple Oscars for acting, writing & direction, a huge critical & commercial success. I had never gotten around to what so many say is a classic but now that I have, I would agree. I enjoyed the plot, interesting characters, dedicated performances from Willis & Collette, an intelligent but vulnerable portrayal by a young Osment. Some good use of cross-tracking (to follow characters’ perspectives) & a continuous shot to imply supernatural interference. Great use of colour: strong reds representing connections between the real world & the supernatural. And, an interesting correlation made between the cold & the “afterlife.” I would not wait up for the twist, the story could be complete without it. Especially, with the sentimental scene it ended on, though, the twist contributes greatly to the re-watch value & adds to the suspense on a second viewing. I would recommend the movie to anybody in the mood for a thriller. I would not call it a horror, per se- only not to disappoint expectations- but a gripping suspense story with horror elements. 4/5 stars. @reviewperson of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

The Sixth Sense is a very suspenseful, yet interesting film. It stars Bruce Willis who is one of the main characters. This film is very unique and entertaining. It's kind of like a thriller, but not that scary. It's not at all like the other horror movies that came out, and that's what makes the film so unique! It has a very interesting story, with lots of plot twists along the way. If you've never seen the movie before, you're definitely in for a ride! Personally, this is one of my all time favourite movies. I recommend this film toanyone intrested in scary movies, and j give this 5/5. @Gummibee11 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

I enjoyed this movie. I had to watch it twice. I like watching "M. Night Shyamalan" movies. He puts a twist in each film.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Intense jump scares, gruesome imagery and scary concepts.

Violence: Mild since most of the ghosts are already dead. But flashbacks do occur and can be very violent.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: The sixth sense means seeing dead people, and here the dead appear exactly as they did in the moment of their death. This makes for some gruesome and frightening scenes.

Cole Sear: I see dead people.

Malcolm Crowe: In your dreams?

[Cole shakes his head no]

Malcolm Crowe: While you're awake?

[Cole nods]

Malcolm Crowe: Dead people like, in graves? In coffins?

Cole Sear: Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dead.

Malcolm Crowe: How often do you see them?

Cole Sear: All the time. They're everywhere.
